A small, owner-operated HVAC company based in Herriman, Utah. Licensed, insured, and answerable for every job we do.
Who we are
Mountain Star Heating and Cooling LLC is owned and run by a small group of local partners, right here in Herriman. We named it Mountain Star because this is our neighborhood too. When you call, you reach the people who own the business, not a call center, and the person who quotes your job answers for it.
We are building this company one customer and one review at a time in the valley where we live. That only works if every job is done right, priced fairly and explained in plain English.
Licensed and insured
Mountain Star holds Utah Contractor License #12914771-5501 in the S350 HVAC classification, active and in good standing, and carries general liability insurance. You can check the license yourself on the Utah Division of Professional Licensing lookup.
What we do
- AC repair and furnace repair, with a flat $79 service call (credited on your bill if you go ahead with the repair) and the repair price quoted before we start
- AC replacement and furnace replacement, with a free in-home estimate and three honest options
- Tune-ups and maintenance, including the Comfort Club
- All major brands, including Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant
Where we work
Full service in Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan and Daybreak, Bluffdale, West Jordan, Kearns, Taylorsville, West Valley City and Murray. In Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake we offer free estimates and installation of new systems only. We work seven days a week at the same rates.
Our warranty
Every repair and installation comes with a 1-year labor warranty on our work, plus a 5-year manufacturer parts warranty. If something we did is not right, call us and we will make it right.
The Comfort Club
For $19.99 a month, or $199.90 a year, the Comfort Club covers two tune-ups a year (AC in spring, furnace in fall), priority scheduling and 10% off repairs. No contract, cancel anytime.
